Black Ferns v Canada
The Black Ferns are coming back to Ōtautahi Christchurch to face off against the world No.2 Canada at Apollo Projects Stadium. The 2025 Rugby World Cup is just around the corner, so every Black Ferns match in the Pacific Four Series is a must-watch! It’s a great kick off time at 3.35pm too, so head along and support our amazing Wāhine Toa.

Open Christchurch 2025
You are invited to discover Ōtautahi in a new light, through the city’s magnificent architecture at Open Christchurch 2025. Presented by Te Pūtahi, the annual festival returns bigger and better than ever from 2-4 May. With a selection of the city’s best buildings and designed spaces, attendees can get in behind the scenes and experience the city in a different way.

2-6 July 2025
Festival of Brass
The 2025 Festival of Brass brings together New Zealand’s best brass and percussion musicians, along with bands from Australia, for five days of stunning performance and competitive events at the Christchurch Town Hall.
All events are free of charge, with the exception of the prestigious “Evening of Melody”, 8pm Wednesday in the James Hay Theatre. Wednesday and Thursday showcase individual and ensemble performances, Friday and Saturday see the bands battle it out on-stage in the Douglas Lilburn Auditorium and James Hay Theatre, and the festival culminates with the Parade of Bands around Victoria Square 10.30am Sunday 6 July.
