Paparoa Street School

Paparoa Street School

Nestled beside a stunning native reserve, Paparoa Street School offers students from Year 1-6 the opportunity to learn in a beautiful natural environment.

We take pride in our exceptional academic achievements, varied cultural and sports programs, and our forward-thinking, inquiry-based curriculum.

Our vision: to ‘Impact and Inspire’ is underpinned by our values of

  • Bravery
  • Passion
  • Belonging
  • Kindness

We are proud of our multicultural school where everyone belongs.
All students are supported to be the best they can be and additional support is provided for students for whom English is a second language.
Our international students are given many varied opportunities to participate in the wider curriculum, including music, sport, kapa haka, outdoor education and camps. We also have regular outings for our international students within Christchurch to experience more of our community and culture.
