Christchurch Picnic Golf
Let me take you to a country golf course within 50 minutes drive of the city. Golf clubs provided (right Handed standard. Please advise if you require Left Handed when booking ), Golf Tees and Golf Balls.
We drive to one of 3 golf courses; Coastal Akaroa Duvauchelle, Amberley Beach or Waimakariri Gorge Golf Course. Picnic of 2 courses provided. As much as possible it is harvested from an organic garden and made by your guide. Any dietary requirements please advise when booking.
We play 9 holes on peaceful courses in beautiful scenic settings. Enjoy a very leisurely half round of golf. At the end enjoy a picnic in a scenic location.

On display are taonga (treasures) which represent the breadth and depth of the Museum's collection ranging from taxidermied animals through to historic objects from the Antarctic, Mountfort and Early Settlers galleries. Visitors can also see beautiful taonga Māori and Pasifika alongside the return of two firm visitor favourites, the horse from The Christchurch Street and Ivan Mauger’s gold bike. We offer rides from 1 to 2.5 hours in small groups of up to 5 persons. All riding levels are catered for and one beginner per ride can be taken on a lead rope. The riding tempo is adjusted to suit the level of the riders.
Icelandic Horses are small but they are very strong and can easily carry even heavy adults. They have a friendly nature and are relaxed and easy to handle. On all our horses you can enjoy the special gait called "tölt" which is unique to Icelandic Horses. It is about as fast as trot, but much more comfortable to ride.
