Christchurch Sightseeing Tour
The tour commences by covering the central city highlights including the area which was completely devastated by the 2011 earthquakes, botanical gardens, Museum and Art Centre, the Avon River, Bridge of Remembrance, and many other highlights. On leaving the inner city, the tour travels to Mona Vale an historic homestead and gardens. Up to the Sign of the Takahe, an historic building providing spectacular views over the city, Canterbury Plains, and the Southern Alps, then over the Port Hills to the Port of Lyttleton, through the harbour tunnel to the seaside suburb of Sumner and cave rock before returning to the central city where the tour will conclude.

Summit Road to see spectacular view over harbour and city across to the Alps. Hear native bellbirds calls. Visit Sign of the Takahe building from the outside and on to Mona Vale Gardens with the crystal clear waters of the Avon River running through it. Visit Riccarton Bush to see the remaining Native Bush in Christchurch as well as original cottage of first white settlers from Scotland The Deans brothers.

Christchurch Coastal Hiking Tour
Coastal picnic hiking. 20 minutes drive from the Christchurch Cathedral. Four and a half hour tour. Enjoy walking along a coastal track and viewing spectacular coastal scenery and far off mountains, bird and plant life. Walk as much or as little as you like to suit your level of fitness. My support vehicle can leap frog you as you walk and pick you up at any stage. Walk from Sumner township to Taylors Mistake Distance of 4.5 kilometres. Volcanic geology. At the conclusion we enjoy a home made picnic largely harvested from my organic garden. We will choose a spot with great views and enjoy a leisurely lunch. If the weather is inclement we can return to my conservatory to dine there instead.

Christchurch Farm Tour
Pick up from your accommodation. Drive to the farm near Springfield (80 kms, 1 hour). Enjoy the changing view as we drive towards the foothills of the Southern Alps. See a sheep dog demonstration and try your hand at shedding sheep. Afterwards take a photo with the sheepdog.
Enjoy lovely views of Waimakariri River and Southern Alps as a back drop See a sheep shearing demonstration. Conclude tour with homemade morning or afternoon tea scones and cookies. There's also options available to combine the tour with horseriding, jet boating, golf or lunch.

On this 4 hour tour I will guide you to 3 Prize winning flower gardens in Christchurch and the winning street gardens and winning factory garden. Meet the gardeners who create these gardens and be guided by myself who has a keen interest in organic vegetable gardening.
You will see why they call Christchurch "The Garden City". Dependent on the season we will visit other attractive garden features around the city. An option to enjoy lunch which will be served in my garden or sun room. 2 course lunch and as much as possible is created from my own vegetable garden.
