Meet some of the birds which we have rehabilitated and unable to go back to the wild. Our experienced guides will help you hold a kāhu hawk and teach you about all New Zealand's raptors, the kāhu/ hawk, kārearea/ falcon, ruru/ morepork, little owl and barn owl. Set in 80 hectares, Orana Wildlife Park is New Zealand's only open range zoo. It is within 15 minutes drive from Christchurch airport. The Park provides amazing animal encounters: hand feed giraffe, meet rhino up close, see New Zealand's only gorillas, view kiwi and meet our tiger up close (cost additional).
